LAWCS is an active player in rabies elimination initiatives and a two-time receiver of Global Alliance for Rabies Control Award (2016 and 2020). On September 28, 2021, LAWCS joined other organizations around the world in the celebration of World Rabies Day by vaccinating over 500 dogs and cats along with massive rabies awareness in 20 communities with over 2,000 people.
