LAWCS` Animal Kindness Star

Congratulations to one of our Animal Kindness Stars, Fatumata Fallah for winning SPANA CASE STUDIES COMPETITION. Fatumata has been involved in LAWCS’ education programme for over two years. Before receiving humane education lessons, Fatumata did not like animals at all as she was very afraid of them. She often witnessed people around her being cruel to animals and thought that this behaviour was normal and acceptable. However, her opinion has completely changed as a result of LAWCS’ education programme. In her own words, Fatumata said: “I feel so connected to animals since I joined the education programme, and I am always talking to my friends and family members about animal welfare”. She is now a self-professed animal lover and takes any opportunity to share what she has learnt with her peers. Fatumata even rescued her own dog, Justice, from her uncle. To this day, she continues to ensure Justice is well cared for and looked after. She likes to “feed, bath and play” with Justice to keep him happy and healthy.
